THE DESCRIPTION:
Pop as much virtual bubblewrap as you can by tapping on your iPhone screen.
THE GOOD:
Bubblewrap is great for people with low self-esteem; scoring high and dominating the leader board is easy. Bubbles make a popping noise when you hit them, then an inflating noise as they regenerate at random.
THE BAD:
The game is so easy, scores are meaningless. In the last 5 seconds of the game, a ticking sound comes on – too late to make any strategy difference. The banner ad at the bottom is easy to tap by accident.
THE BOTTOM LINE:
It’s fun for a 30-second diversion, but there’s no real progression or skill involved. One ad claims that on the pay version, “BubblePro,” high scores can win cash. It’s hard to see how any person could distinguish themselves enough for that to be true.
