THE DESCRIPTION:
“Personality” is Signal Patterns’ personality test and background information in an app. Forty questions measure traits based on Big Five psychology theory.
THE GOOD:
The test took less than 10 minutes to complete and offered descriptions of each factor and comparisons with its opposite. The write-up on each factor includes a description as it applies to the test taker. It takes around 15 minutes to read through each explanation; they are fairly comprehensive. After you take the test, you can check out Signal Pattern’s team of five developers, videos and website.
THE BAD:
You’re basically looking at a simplified version of Signal Pattern’s website, and you’ll definitely be able to find more in-depth personality tests (more than 45 questions) elsewhere on the Internet. You probably won’t take this test more than once or twice, and the app is essentially just an advertisement for Signal Patterns. Other than that, there isn’t much to complain about here.
THE BOTTOM LINE:
Compared to its competitors, this is an excellent test via application and a fun way to spend 10 minutes – It’s the most authentic FREE option out there. Radiance House makes a more in-depth app called Personality Types for $2.99 that will categorize your results based on Jung’s Type Theory.
