THE DESCRIPTION:
In Zenonia, you act as the young hero, Regret. You must journey to find out what happened to your father. Battle your way to gain levels and face off against the evil demons.
THE GOOD:
Zenonia is a typical RPG game; you roam around on relatively easy quests. There are many quests; how you accomplish them can change the whole path of the game, so there’s a lot of replay value here. This game also offers a “skill tree” type of fighting that lets you cleverly create different attack and defense measures so it’s not just mindless slashing at enemies. Graphics and sound are strong.
THE BAD:
Patience is a must; you will have to attack a lot of weaker enemies in order to build up your level so you’re ready against the bosses. The touch screen D-pad is difficult to use because the controls are small, and there is very little to do outside of the main story line. In addition, expect some annoying lag in between fun events.
THE BOTTOM LINE:
If you love classic-style RPG games, then this is perfect for you. The Lite version is a great illustration of what the game has in store for you. Although the lite version will let you play for only 30 minutes, you will realize whether or not this is the game for you.
