THE DESCRIPTION:
“iSmoothies Free” offers over 20 smoothie recipes categorized by main ingredient.
THE GOOD:
You can browse by category, see a full list their recipes, or check out recipes starred as favorites. There is a solid variety of smoothie types, including Apple, Blackberry, Chocolate, and Strawberry. Each recipe contains a list of ingredients as well as “How to Make it.”
THE BAD:
The “Ingredients” search option is useless; you can’t use it to match your entry with any corresponding recipes. The free version only contains about 20 recipes, whereas the paid application offers 100.
THE BOTTOM LINE:
This is a great guide for incorporating variety into your typical DIY smoothie. If you’re into smoothies and you’d like some new ideas, go for it. Upgrade to the paid version ($.99) to get 100 recipes or try “shakesmoothie” for more categories and organization.
