THE DESCRIPTION:
“AppMiner” updates you on the newest apps and discounted prices.
THE GOOD:
AppMiner is fairly organized and easy to navigate. Use it to check out the new paid and free releases and see which applications are top-rated on the AppStore. You can browse through the listed apps, or you can search for apps manually; all of the apps are organized by iTunes official categories. The sale function shows you the latest price drops, and you can create a watch list to keep track of prices.
THE BAD:
AppMiner doesn’t have a lot of useful information beyond the sale info. There aren’t any reviews, so you won’t be able to tell which apps are worth buying, except by AppStore rating. Except for the sale updates, “AppMiner” doesn’t offer anything you can’t do on the AppStore.
THE BOTTOM LINE:
The main selling point here is the Sale function. If you want to keep track of price reductions on applications, “AppMiner” will do the trick (“Pandora Box” provides the same service if you prefer.) Check out “AppReview” to focus on quality.
