THE GOOD:
Amazing graphics and sound effects, some of the best yet for an iPhone App. The tilt-control is pretty impeccable, especially for having no calibration. There are ten levels of intense gaming pleasure. The obstacles are never repetitive, they stay challenging and don’t get tiresome. It seems the developers knew exactly what to do to avoid user frustration; for instance, the rapidly rotating spikes or spits of fire are moving extremely fast for the first go around – but if you’re struck, they immediately slow down. This is a skill-based game and at the end they reveal your achievements, excellent for those who like a good challenge, as after level completion, you are given the option to replay the level for higher scores.
THE BAD:
The 10 levels offer only about an hours worth of game play.
THE BOTTOM LINE:
A great game for those thrill seeking arcade lovers
who love a great challenge, great graphics and decent user ability. At only $.99, it’s definitely worth the purchase. For all those who loved Episode 1, get ready for more; it’s been confirmed there will also be a Dark Nebula: Episode 2!
