With a wide range of difficulties, this application faithfully replicates the experience of the game with all the same rules and parameters (without wasting paper). Sudoku fans may actually find this application more fun and convenient in a number of ways. First, you can replace and change numbers you have already placed with just the click of the screen instead of erasing or crossing out. Also, you can use the “note” function, which allows you to place a smaller number in the corner of a box for boxes you are unsure about in order to help organize and visualize the board. Finally, if you are a beginner or are stuck on a particular puzzle, you can always use the hint button to get help on a few squares.
The Bad:
There is not much to dislike about this application. Most people are already familiar with the nature of the game, and it is certainly not for everyone. Individuals who are more right-brained and creative may not enjoy the nature of the game itself, but for those who are already fans of the game, you simply cannot go wrong.
